Anti-Wrinkle Treatments

Why an Anti-Wrinkle Treatment?

An Anti-Wrinkle Treatment helps to rejuvenate the ageing face. The effects are temporary, lasting 3-5 months, but the treatments can be done quickly, require no recovery time, and are not as complicated as many other cosmetic procedures for the face.

If you have worries about the visible signs of ageing, Frontalis provides a personalised consultation session to create and develop an individualised treatment plan to help rejuvenate your skin.

Following this consultation, our anti-ageing injections may be prescribed to temporarily relax the facial muscles to smooth out lines and wrinkles.

Frontalis Clinic uses only the safest techniques and highest quality products. Each patient is provided with individual attention and the care of a qualified medical professional, to ensure that you can safely enjoy looking the best you possible.

FAQs

How long do results last?

Results tend to last 3-4 months initially. With increased usage, the duration of the results can increase to as long as 6 months for some people.

Who will perform the treatment?

Ruth Parsons is a Registered Nurse Prescriber and qualified Aesthetician with 15 years’ experience in Acute Medicine, A&E, General Nursing, and as a GP Practice Nurse and has also spent four years working as a Surgical Nurse within cosmetic surgery.

How long does treatment take?

As a prescription treatment, it is import to go through your medical history to ensure you are not likely to have complications from having the procedure. This usually lasts 10-15 minutes in most cases. The treatment itself takes around 10 minutes.

How long is the recovery time?

After your treatment, you can resume your normal day and go back to work. Some people report symptoms such as a mild headache, dry mouth or light dizziness in the 24-48 hour period post-procedure. More complex side effects such as droopy eyelids can also occur but with careful attention to administering treatment by a medical professional, this is thankfully rare.

When will I see results?

You may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours for moderate to severe frown lines, with full results by around 7-10 days.

What areas are treated?

Treatments are most commonly performed on the upper half of the face to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles particularly targetting crows feet, frown lines, laugh lines and glabella lines (area between the eyebrows).

Although they can also be carried out around the lower half of the face such as the mouth, jaw and chin, these areas tend to respond better to dermal fillers.

We will discuss the best course of treatment during your personalised consultation.
